Atlanta Hawks breakout star Trae Young was spotted incognito at a blackjack table at Bahamas resort Baha Mar over the weekend — wearing a hoodie and a mask.
But the 22-year-old point guard was noticed by some younger fans, who quickly began to proliferate, sources told us.
Maybe he was trying to win some of that money he nearly made in the NBA Finals?
A spy said that ultimately “about 200 kids, I am not kidding, who looked about 15 or younger were standing around the casino chanting ‘Trae Young.’ ”
The underage crew wasn’t allowed in the casino, so they had to spy on Young from outside the gambling area in an “outside parlor,” the source said.
Added a sports insider of the group, “I’ve seen Michael Jordan, Magic [Johnson] at the casino there, and I’ve never seen anything like this. They were all kids.”
Also spotted at Baha Mar over the weekend were NFL stars Odell Beckham Jr., Ezekiel Elliott and Vince Young, plus mega-producer DJ Khaled.
Away from the casino, Young posted a black-and-white video to his Instagram Stories of his girlfriend, Shelby Miller, waterskiing. She posted pics of herself on the beach in a bikini and shades, though neither specified where they were.
Young led the Hawks to within two wins of the NBA Finals, emerging as an unexpected power in the league’s Eastern Conference. The team lost to the Milwaukee Bucks — but Young reportedly told fans as he left his home court in defeat, “We’ll be back.”
Baha Mar is known as a refuge for celebs and athletes. In April, Rob Gronkowski celebrated his mom’s birthday at the resort with his family, while Todd Gurley and Julio Jones were also seen soaking up the sun. Earlier this year, Drake, Lil Baby, and Meek Mill were spotted gambling at the casino.
The resort also just opened a $200 million water park called Baha Bay.
A rep for Young didn’t immediately comment.
