Jay-Z rolled up in a Rolls — while A-Rod arrived via helicopter — to Michael Rubin’s $50 million estate on Sunday for an epic Hamptons July Fourth bash.
Also at the private party were a collection of music stars, hedge fund and real estate moguls, models, and notable sports names — including Beyoncé, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, Travis Scott, Jon Bon Jovi, James Harden, Steve Ross, Meek Mill, Megan Thee Stallion, P.K. Subban, Mike Novogratz, J Balvin, Lil Baby, Quavo, Winnie Harlow, Karlie Kloss and more.
Jay-Z arrived in a green Rolls-Royce, sources told Page Six, which matched a multimillion-dollar, custom-made, emerald Richard Mille watch on the rapper’s wrist when he emerged from the car. It has been reported that Jay-Z owns a blue sapphire Mille watch that cost $2.5 million.
We hear A-Rod arrived via air from the Yankees game in the Bronx to ensure that the former slugger would be in time for the Hamptons party, which had a strict guest list of about 250 VIPs. Rodriguez met his Timberwolves business partner Marc Lore at the party.
Hundreds of crashers also showed up to try and gain admission without success.
A source told Page Six that “the party was epic, even for the Hamptons… a full-on music festival spontaneously broke out,” after Travis Scott “went up to the DJ booth and started performing an array of his songs and turned the party up.”
Then, “Tinashe, Lil Baby and Megan Thee Stallion performed as fireworks went off on the beach,” and, “Megan, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi and Lil Uzi Vert all performed together for like 45 mins.”
Also seen at the bash, we hear, were: WhatsApp founder Jan Koum, SoftBank exec Marcelo Claure, Michael Strahan, Gayle King, LeSean McCoy, Bobby Shmurda, Maverick Carter, Rich Kleiman, Alan Tisch, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and hospitality gurus Will Makris, Scott Sartiano and Noah Tepperberg,
“Lil Baby, J Balvin and Megan spent time mingling with Jay-Z and Beyoncé on the beach,” a spy said, as guests downed Jay’s D’Usse and Ace of Spades booze brands, plus Don Julio 1942 tequila.
“Yo Gotti personally introduced himself to Robert Kraft and said he’s a fan of his entrepreneurship and was rooting for him to get another championship,” a source told us. Kraft — who also just bought a $43 million mansion in the area — was also spotted bravely comparing his watch game to Jay-Z and other guests’ timepieces.
Page Six previously reported that Rubin had sent out bottles of Ace of Spade as invitations in custom white cases for the party, where guests dressed in all white.
The bash was a belated housewarming for Rubin’s Bridgehampton mansion, which — as Page Six first reported — he bought from HFZ Capital Group founder Ziel Feldman in January.
The party was so full-on, Rubin posted a series of images afterward with the hashtag #barelysurvived. He’s also known for his star-studded parties at the Super Bowl, but took a year off due to the pandemic this year.
