Google applications including YouTube, Gmail, and Docs in multiple countries are suffering a rare service outage, with users unable to access some of the services.

The outage reportedly started shortly before noon UK time, with Google sites returning server errors when visited.

Google’s search engine, however, remained unaffected by the apparent outage affecting its other services.

YouTube said in a statement at 7:09 am ET: “We are aware that many of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now – our team is aware and looking into it. We’ll update you here as soon as we have more news.”
