FG says Kogi is risky to visit due to failure to respond to COVID-19 pandemic
The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has declared Kogi a high-risk state for refusing to acknowledge the existence of the disease.
The PTF also said that the Kogi government had failed to report testing, lacked isolation centers, and therefore warned Nigerians to be wary of visiting the state.
Recall that the governor, Yahaya Bello has repeatedly openly declared that COVID-19 is non-existent in his state, thereby discouraging adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
